Mother's Day Hike

My kids called on Saturday afternoon (after my race) and said they were coming that night and wanted to go hiking on Sunday. Yay! Was I up to it? Well, sure. I don't get to see my kids too often and the weather was supposed to be beautiful.  We went close by and hiked at Smith Rock State Park, which is known for it's wonderful rock climbing and rock formations.

It's definitely a hike up.

All in all a wonderful day! (even if it is called Misery Ridge and I could hardly walk that evening!) lol

    Ok, that is one beautiful hike, and how cool that your kids took you out to do it! And look at the blue sky! Nice!
