Have I mentioned I am a slow runner? A blog reader wrote to me recently that she has started to run. My advice to go longer was to slow it down a bit. She said, "If I slow it down any more, I"ll be stopped!" Some days I feel like that too.
It was really nice to back off a bit last week and be kind to myself. I am feeling better, physically and mentally because of it. I'm not quite ready to hit it hard this week (I said that last week) but keep a steady pace instead. Aerobics 3x week and running 3x a week- that seems to be a good pace for me.
I'll start training for my springtime half marathon soon, then I'll have to change things up.
