St Patty's Day

Grand Marshall and Mrs. Marshall for the St. Patrick's day dash.

It wasn't a big race, by any means 235 people running and quite a few walkers. I loved seeing the sea of green at the starting line.
I had my best time ever for a 5K! It was a flat, fast course. I also had a mile+ walk back to my car, since the start and end line were not the same. Look at that blue sky! The day was perfect for a run.
I may have to do this again next year.

  1. yeah for you...ours had about 32000 people! never will I do that again. LOL..it was fun but waaaaayyyyy toooo many people...I walked and jogged...I am thinking that maybe I did jog about a mile total..maybe just under..my goal was 15 minute miles...got stopped by Max for a minute or two...stopped for a few seconds to take a picture of the temperature...LOL...39 at 10:15 and then when I got to the finish line...came to a halt and walked VERY SLOWLY IN...took a couple minutes so I was not happy...BUT....total time was 16.47...so, had I not had those three things, then I think I would have met my goal..

  2. I don't think we had a very big crowd but then there were at least 4 St. Patty's Day run within a 15 miles radius of my house :)
