Hiking

One of my favorite activities to stay active is hiking. My son (red shirt) and daughter (red hair) came down this week with their girlfriend/boyfriend to help me celebrate my birthday.
I opted to go for a hike. Shevlin Park in Bend is not very far and I've never been there so that is where we went. It was a lovely day- not too hot, not too cold.
Beautiful pine and juniper trees running by Tumalo Creek.
This looks like a root but was growing from a branch.
Love the huge boulders. The guys were taking a closer look at something.

We finished the afternoon off at Flatbreads Community Oven happy hour!! Cookies and beer are not generally on my healthy food list, but I am turning 50!! lol

Thanks for dropping by!!

  1. Looks like a wonderful hiking trail. So nice to be near nature and pump up the heart rate a little. Happy Birthday Lori! I think your jubilee year is going to be very good one.

The hike was beautiful, and what better way to celebrate this turning point in your life, but with family and friends and Gods beautiful canvas.
