Huckleberry Half Marathon

 Here is my friend, Michele, who is my son's friend but now the whole family's. She told me about the Huckleberry Half in Welches, OR. 

 We ran most of the race next to a river and the Mt Hood National Forest. It was amazingly beautiful!!


 
The hills were killer and it was up and down and up most of the route..... Worked the glutes big time! lol
 I love running, but it's fun to finish a race too!
Our "medal's" are wood cut Bigfoot. Couldn't resist a photo with the big guy himself!!

    Actually looks like fun - even with the hills. Glad to have stopped and visited so briefly on my way home yesterday...thanks for the skin - it fits..now just need a battery and to get it working.
