My favorite snack recently- Siggi's Icelandic yogurt 4% fat Vanilla with defrosted blueberries!
I'm trying not to purchase low fat or no fat foods since the sugar is usually bumped up to make up for the loss of flavor. You don't need to eat as much full fat foods, as it does fill you up. Siggi's is my favorite Icelandic yogurt but there are a few others that are delicious. My nearest store to purchase Siggi's is Whole Foods which is an hour away. It is making me appreciate it even more when I have it.
Ingredients
Pasteurized Whole Milk, Pasteurized Cream, Organic Agave Nectar, Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, Live Active Cultures
Yum. I need to look at my Kirkland brand plain greek yogurt. I made some homemade granola last week and eat the yogurt with granola and some cinnamon. Yum.
ReplyDeleteIt looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI find the complexity if choosing the right foods daunting. I usually get fat free plain Greek yogurt and add vanilla I'll have to check the sugar content. I've never seen Icelandic yogurt
Fat free chiobani plain has 4 grams of sugar compared to suggi Icelandic 's 8 per serving I did not check serving size equality. I d still love to try the Icelandic
ReplyDeleteMe again! I found Siggi's at my supermarket! Can t wait to try it. Thanks for the hint, Lori.
ReplyDeleteI picked up a container of this and had half the carton with blueberries - such a treat!
