This week's meeting was about staying focused and losing weight during the summer months. You may think this is the time to relax and take it easy- well you are right! You can still relax and have some summer fun and still lose weight. Here are some tips:
Drink plenty of water
Limit your alcohol
Check out the buffet before you get in line. You'll know what sections to avoid and where you need to go to get the healthy alternatives.
Log on to etools to find lighter fare recipes, use the recipe builder, or get motivation.
Look for hotels that have a fitness center- and use it.
Build activities into your summer plans. Make it fun! Go swimming, bike riding, hiking, etc.
Attend your weekly weight Watcher meeting. If you will be out of town, look online to find one you can go to.
Be active at your meetings by participating and sharing tips.
