Time to Get Off the Couch


This week Weight Watchers kicks off the Walk-It Challenge.
What I love about it as it gives us the motivation we need to start moving more.
The idea of the Walk it challenge is to set a goal to walk a 5K (3.1 miles).
If you don't exercise, start small and work from there. Walk 5 minutes every day for three days, then increase to 10 minutes. Keep adding minutes and the next thing you know you'll be ready to walk or jog in a 5K race.
The Walk-It "official" day is June 6th, but you can walk in any other organized 5K or map your own route.
Heaven Can Wait in Bend, Oregon was a fun event that we participated in last year. It is on June 6th.
Set a goal and meet the challenge!!!
