You go girl! Glad to see a fellow quilter/runner. June 5th is national running day and those of us signed up to run Chicago marathon just got an email about this. Where I live there is nobody hosting a run but maybe check out your town. I run for fun and therapy. October will be my 22nd marathon. I do like to do 1/2 marathons but since we usually plan vacations around full marathons I usually sign up for full marathons and train accordingly. I like you am not competitive. Once upon a time I tried to beat my PR and train accordingly. I am now 52 and am grateful to still be able to get out there and do it. The years I have lost my speed but the endurance is still there and my favorite shirt purchased at an expo is Run Happy. Good luck and start training. It becomes a lifestyle.
