What Have I Done?

I did it! I'm not sure how I'm going to run 26.2 miles, but I'll trust my training that will happen between now and October 6th.

I'm open to any and all tips and suggestions!!

  6. You go girl! Glad to see a fellow quilter/runner. June 5th is national running day and those of us signed up to run Chicago marathon just got an email about this. Where I live there is nobody hosting a run but maybe check out your town. I run for fun and therapy. October will be my 22nd marathon. I do like to do 1/2 marathons but since we usually plan vacations around full marathons I usually sign up for full marathons and train accordingly. I like you am not competitive. Once upon a time I tried to beat my PR and train accordingly. I am now 52 and am grateful to still be able to get out there and do it. The years I have lost my speed but the endurance is still there and my favorite shirt purchased at an expo is Run Happy. Good luck and start training. It becomes a lifestyle.
