Power Smoothie

 Hemp is a wonderful healthy addition to any smoothie or oatmeal.
"They are a complete protein. Hemp hearts also contain the essential fatty acids omega 6 and omega 3. In addition, hemp hearts are a good source of both soluble and insoluble fiber. They are also packed with vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, B1, B2, D and E, as well as the minerals calcium and iron. Hippie Butter Hemp protein powder is another addition I enjoy. It is not as processed as many other protein powders.

One of last week's smoothies, was banana, apple, pear and greens. So refreshing!

  1. I tried hemp in my smoothies...I know how good it is for you but I could not stand the taste!! I like flax and chia but I'll pass on the hemp!

  3. I do the hemp seeds and have tried the protein, but just can't get past the taste. Maybe I need the Hippie version! LOL
