Around My Neighborhood

So Lizzy, Gone to the Beach, always shows us the wonderful sites around her neighborhood while taking her dog Mo, out for a walk. I've been trying to be more observant while out. This is my view.
Brown, black and gray Porter. He doesn't wear a coat or any outerwear like Mo.
 Winter grasses.
Although it was windy today this tumbleweed was going to be trapped in the sagebrush.

This time of the year everything is pretty much the same drab color. I guess we call that low volume now.
This cool snarly juniper tree is probably old growth and resides next to our driveway. That was the most interesting thing I saw today.

It's been wintery and cold but I've been trying to get out for a quick walk at least every day. Will need to amp it up pretty soon and get into training mode.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Oh how fun. It s lovely in a drab way, I bet the air smells delicious. Lovely the gnarly juniper tree. Mo wishes he could explore with Porter---who is a very handsome guy, such fur.

  2. Porter is so cute! Thanks for sharing your high desert scenery. That juniper is great, love how twisted it is.
