Desert Hiking

Last weekend I took a short and dusty hike near my house. This time of the year everything is dry and brittle, but that is why it is called the high desert. 
I love getting int he woods and the mountains, but appreciate our dry climate too.

    I would rather not run across a snake but it does look like a good place to hike.
