First Solo Hike

Well, Elsa came, so I guess it wasn't really solo. 

Mirror Lake and Tom, Dick and Harry was a hike I wanted to do this summer.  And the day presented itself.


 It was cloudy but oh so humid. It was wonderful to breathe fresh air.
 I saw little signs of autumn.
Looks like she was enjoying the view too.

 I do believe Mt Hood is under the clouds/smoke over there.  I'm really going to need to come back when it is clear.


It was a great way to spend my morning. And I hiked 9 miles- so great exercise to boot!

    How beautiful! And how peaceful and fulfilling to do the hike alone, with just Elsa. She is looking all grown up and beautiful now, isn't she!
